Joey Wrongway

Meet Joey Wrongway. I received a call for the shelter on January 9, 2010 about a puppy that needed to be rescued. I went to pick him up and boy was I surprised! This tiny, almost 1 pound puppy has a leg deformity. His back legs are backwards. I took him to the vet this week and that is not the least of his problems. He also has no pelvis. We think he is a chihuahua, although he looks like a baby kangaroo to me. So that is how he got his name ... Joey (baby kangaroo), Wrongway (legs backwards). He is the sweetest baby. Walks on his knees when I let him down. He goes to work with me and sleeps in a sugar glider pouch. The vet seems to feel he will live to between 2 to 5 years and he is not in any pain. Now get this... my blind dachshund Zero has decided he is her puppy. What a pair.
